Thanks for pointing out the screenshot and the documentation link. It is helpful. I am not discounting it and I appreciate your help.
The point of my post was to explain to why I was surprised that it was possible to add a release using Picard. The reason for that is because of the documentation that I had read and I gave several links.
At some point, I hope to be have time to help contribute to the documentation.
No no, just press Lookup CD in Picard, then the Add new release button will be available in the subsequent MB site pages.

I lookup the CD and get this:
Then click ‘Submit disc ID’ and this appears in chrome:
The Add Release button is always available on the MB website.
Please can you explain what I’m missing?
In the second image, type your Release Title in the SEARCH box.
When that fails to find a match, you then see the Add A New Release button at the bottom of the page
Thanks for the explanation. It ends up at the ‘Add Release’ page off the website that I normally use, but with the TOC created.
