OK so I installed the Linux subsystem for Windows 10 with Ubuntu and then attempted to install all the required dependencies (a pretty tricky and tedious process for non-Linux afficionados). They all seemed to install eventually except for pycdio which gave the following error “AssertionError: need at least libcdio-2.0.0 to use this” although I thought libcdio had installed OK. Then whipper won’t run without pycdio.
Sounds promising.
Please let us know if you find a working way to use whipper on Windows.
