I am not sure how this happened. I can supply more releases that have this problem if needed.
How did i came across this bug?
I set picard to download 1200 px covers and it downloaded 500 px.
As this are just a few releases i found a “solution”:
My idea was that if i can get cover archive to recreate index.json the values will be correct. I can get it to recreate index.json with an edit. Here are two edits the first one removes the designation “front” and the second adds the designation “front” again reverting the first change. https://musicbrainz.org/edit/119246913 https://musicbrainz.org/edit/119246916
Before the edits index.json looked like this:
Yes, that works, but I’d prefer people didn’t create noise like this in the edit history & peoples’ edit subscriptions. We can reindex these for you without creating pointless edits. Just contact the MusicBrainz support@ email, or drop a message in the #metabrainz room on IRC/Matrix. These files are managed by us, so don’t contact the Internet Archive.
Just so you know - this is the ticket already open around the issue so you can track it.
Bitmap is the same dev that commented on the ticket and can help with individual items being re-indexed until the main ticket gets closed off per his message - but as it’s a low priority among other server responsibilities it has no ETA.
Cheers
(edit - whoops didnt see bitmap already replied to give his contact details)
