Hundreds of same date release events on a single release

I’m fairly new to MusicBrainz and have been working on classical music releases and artists.

In one of my subscribed entities, I came across a release that has 217 release events with the same date. As far as I can tell it’s one per world country:

This seems to have been added using an automatic streamer importer.

Is this the right way?

I’d say it’s simply more clear and succint to replace all those release events with a single worldwide release date, but I don’t want to go against some style/tradition.

I’ve edited that to not have the long country list. See, Digital releases: Merging? / Long country list? / Just [Worldwide]? - #333 by reosarevok for reasons why.
