How to tag an artist as the composer of a piece?

Please excuse a probably rather dim question from a newbie, but how should I tag an artist as the composer of a piece? I’ve created an event with a list of performers etc but I can’t see where to credit a composer… Tia, -Nick

Hi! Composers are listed at the work level. For example, Sonata “Sonata for Viola and Piano” - MusicBrainz has composer: Rebecca Clarke. See also the works documentation.

Works are linked to events using the setlist (see that documentation) in a way that is admittedly fiddly and not ideal, but the best we have right now.
