although there is a Refresh option, it is always greyed out.
how do i simply get Picard to refresh all?
Select everything on the right hand side, hit CTRL+R
Or use main menu or right click menu.
It only refreshes what you have selected.

The fastest to refresh all the loaded releases is selecting them all with Ctrl+A (or right click in the right frame and “Select all”), then do the refresh.
