How to enter information that a track is a cover of an already existing song?

Hi,

I want to add an album that consists of covers of songs by other bands, but I don’t know how to go about adding those. I looked at the release submit page and I didn’t notice anything for me to enter that these songs are covers of already existing songs.
I tried looking it up on google and the wiki, but all results that come up are about cover art, not about song covers.

Any help is appreciated!

You can add a relation between the recording/track and the original work with the Relationship Editor and tick the “cover” relationship attribute. If the original work is not yet in the database, you can also create that work with the Relationship Editor.
