I’m new to ListenBrainz, and a longtime Last.fm user. I’ve managed to do the bulk of my import yesterday, but today’s scrobbles are not coming through, so I figure I need to do a partial import, but there only seems to be the option to do another full scan of my Last.fm library?
This seems like a waste of computer energy (bad for the environment ) since I only wanted to import the last day’s and today’s scrobbles, but the importer is running through all my listens since 2005. Hopefully i’m missing something and there is a way to just scan the scrobbles since my last import? I didn’t do the thing where you can reset your timestamp, so that shouldn’t be the issue.
I would love to know that as well. I have tried importing my last.fm data but at some point it reaches the rating limit and stops importing it. I realized that for each page the importer makes a post request and that might be the issue here, since the requests are being made too quickly it seems that every time someone imports their last.fm data they are making a lot of requests too quickly, and the importer doesn’t stop even when the requests fail.
I checked and it seems that my data was partially imported, so if the importer was smart enough to see duplicates or to check where it stopped from it would be amazing.
