HDCD Medium Type

If a release has some HDCD encoded tracks should the medium be changed to HDCD?
The majority of tracks on the release in question are not HDCD encoded. I’m going to make an annotation listing the HDCD tracks but not sure if changing the disc type is appropriate.

Interesting. You could make the same argument for DTS-CD but I have yet to see a CD that mixes normal and DTS tracks…

In fact this is the first I’ve heard of a disc that has some tracks with HDCD and some without.

Something to think about.
