It appears happi.dev is no longer available as even going to https://happi.dev directly no longer works. Is there another free option for lyrics or are others still able to access happi.dev?

I think it’s been gone for a while - we should probably remove the plugin @outsidecontext

Yes, someone had brought this up recently as well (don’t remember were). It’s a pity, but this is where all lyrics services tend to end sooner or later (mostly sooner).
I have removed the plugin in happidev_lyrics: remove plugin by phw · Pull Request #345 · metabrainz/picard-plugins · GitHub . It’ll be gone from the official plugin downloads in a few hours.
Would be great to have a replacement of course.

Hello, I’m the owner of happi.dev. Unfortunately, a few years ago I had to step away from the project due to lack of time and personal issues, and I couldn’t continue its development. I’m really sorry this impacted your project.
A few months ago, I resumed work on happi.dev with a long-term commitment (things are different now, and I’m focused on growing it). I have reintroduced the lyrics API to provide this service to users again. The project is completely new and built with modern technologies (sadly, I lost the original code, but I’ve worked to restore compatibility with your plugin). I’ve also added an extra compatibility layer for users using this plugin by reverse-engineering the Python code from the Github Commit
I’d appreciate it if users who still use this plugin could confirm whether it is working. Thank you very much for using my platform, and I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
