is there any wikipedia api to get artist bio by mbid or artist name?

I have a plugin that queries musicbrainz web service and looks for a wikidata url.
It will then query the wikidata service to look up that item and tag
If you want to go the other way you can, wikidata has a query service and it should be possible to write a query to search for entries that have a musicbrainz id property.
