The FreeBSD documentation talks about V8 and 9 … Is it still generally good information otherwise?

I’m going to try it in a jail instead of hosting the VM. If it’s not optimal that way, or just too much hassle to setup, I’ll put Ubuntu with samba on something and use that for the server and a backup/mirror for audio and photos.
