I’d like to make a suggestion regarding Options | Plugins: a search-as-you-type text box. This would make it easier to search through all the available plugins.
I’d recommend putting the search box in the top right corner of the plugin listing. Here is a mockup:

Search what? Titles, descriptions, or something else? I suggest you enter a ticket so this request doesn’t get lost.
Also, I assume that this would only include the plugins from the list of Picard “official” plugins and not other plugins that might be available from developer repositories.
I mean to search between listed plugins. Regarding which plugins to include in the search, I suggested to also provide a drop-down list filter: official / 3rd-party / all .
