Enable drag & drop in Google Chrome for pictures from CAA?

If I try to drag & drop a picture with FireFox from CAA (Example) it works as expected.

Trying the same with Google Chrome, I can’t drop the picture to another windows application.
The only place where I can drop it is the desktop or a directory in the file explorer.

Which settings do I have to change to let Chrome drop pictures into other running applications on my Win10-PC?
