This was a method to submit listens from Plex, but since last night eavesdrop.fm lands on “site not found”. Host account deleted without warning.

For what it’s worth as an alternative, I spun up MultiScrobbler and connected it to my Listenbrainz account. Seems to be scrobbling fine.

Vibe coded, don’t judge it too harshly. It has worked for me for several years, you can inspect it’s submitted listens here. It works with webhooks like eavesdrop, but you run it locally so it can access the files on your server, which allows it to submit full tags including MBIDs to ListenBrainz.
(As it says in the readme, if anyone pro programmer wants to steal the idea or start with this code and improve on it, feel free. Just posting as an option for Plex users)

Looks like the functionality is back and he’s working on rebuilding the front end. I’m going to stick with Multiscrobbler though…
