It’s sometimes difficult to follow discussions where someone intentionally tried to quote the newest post, but the system automatically removes the quote. Can we disable this?
I think it only removes it if the message was quoted in its entirety. I recently ran into this on one of my replies, and I found it a bit annoying at the time. Then I realized that a link to the post to which the reply applies will be added automatically unless it is the post immediately preceding the reply, so that seemed to cover any threading / continuity issues for me.
