Hello
I have 3 releases Le Soldat Rose - MusicBrainz they are musicals with, between each songs, the intervention of a narrator.
The narrator’s tracks have all the same name, so it’s really annoying to distinguish between each other, the only difference being the track length.
One of the release solved that with numbering the narrator’s tracks Release “Le Soldat Rose à la fabrique de jouets” by Various Artists - MusicBrainz.
So is there a guideline for this “problem”, either all the same name or numbering them.
I do prefer numbering.
I like to add disambiguation to the recording wit the first few word in quotes followed by an ellipsis.
So if the track name was “Narration” the disambiguation would be “blah blah…”
That way you can at least tell the recordings apart and if you add disambiguations in your tagging it works well.
Here is an example… Release “A Tribute to Woody Guthrie” by Various Artists - MusicBrainz

Thats not a bad idea, the search result and recording pages are easier to read. But on the release page the disambiguation do not appear, still a bit annoying.
It would be great that MBS would display recording comments in release pages.
Meanwhile, INLINE STUFF does this:
Except on 11+ medium releases.
But I think there is another userscript that can do this, without this limitation…

Then please vote this MBS ticket:

Today we already display recording artist credit, if different from the track artist credit.
It would be super to also display the recording comment.
