Hey,

Thanks for amazing software

Apologies for delay on this - been waiting for a new batch of music to follow up

I’ve migrated this thread here from the old forum ( http://forums.musicbrainz.org/viewtopic.php?pid=32841#p32841 ), because I don’t appear to be able to login there now and I may want to be able to follow this up at a later date

It also acts as a point of interest to discuss this duplicate file topic (it’s obviously still an issue for some people How can I remove all of my duplicate music )

I don’t yet really understand your suggestion. Do you want the metadata comparison at the bottom to also display the technical details about the file like bitrate? Not quite sure that makes sense, because unlike the metadata these values don’t have an “original value” and a “new value”, it is just the file data.

Yeah, that screen makes it clear. I have closed your issue though, we already have this feature request in http://tickets.musicbrainz.org/browse/PICARD-170 . Long standing feature request nobody has implemented so far :frowning:

That Google drive link is now a 404 so not sure what the feature you want is.
I have seen lots of repeat results returned for “recordings” so if there is a way to just return the unique “song titles” I would be interested.

Hi @bizzel,

Screen shot was some UI displaying file bitrate I expect so the user can more easily compare files and prune duplicates

If you’re implementing the outstanding ssue then happy to give additional input but I suspect the gist of it was ability for user to customise columns in the app’ (e.g. add bitrate column)
