You can fork my slopy work and fix it yourself, since u obviosly have better understanding of things. Or at least PR/issue/literary-amything.
You don’t seem to have interpreted my post correctly, so I added an example to it.
The results there says “seeded by MET”. I mentioned here already that it is upstream or vertical issue and its not related to this or that script. Since its not related to the script, it should be discussed elsewhere.
It is related to the script as the script is enabling a lazy person to double up on credits. I’ve also seen “bass” dropped on top of “electric bass guitar” and other similar issues. Yes, if an editor cares what they are doing they check. But we all know that not every editor is like that. Hence the requests to err on the side of less changes by default.

There will alwas be some issues. I created various tools so editors can fix those. For example, use Group Therapy to remove all writers that have lyricst/composer in a single click as I do. You can also get involved and create an issue and propose a solution. Hand waving is easy.
It is called feedback 
. I can’t add solutions as I am not a dev and don’t have any accounts on github. Most of your scripts utterly confuse me. Hence posting comments here agreeing with those asking to lean on the side of not default adding to data when conflicting data already exists. This is not meant to be negative. It is just a view from an editor who is having to clean up the mess that some scripts can cause.
