Hi,
Does somebody know how to add cover art on FLAC files when saving them on a Mac ? The cover appears on the program when scanning but not in the saved files, except in a different .jpeg.

Have you enabled saving images to tags? You can separately configure to save images to tags and/or as separate files.
Yes its enabled, I tried to reset the settings on default but still doesn’t work.
How do you determine that it doesn’t work?
What happens when you load the tagged file into Picard, drag them to the left pane and select it. Does it show cover art for that file?
It does show the cover on Picard at the bottom right, but not in my finder after saving it except as a different .jpeg file; nor on a usual player as VLC.
Is it possible for the image to appear on every single track file in the finder and various players ?
I don’t think Finder supports FLAC files. See also
There is a tool that seems to allow one to extract the cover art from FLAC files and set it as the file’s icon: GitHub - pbsvk/FLAC-File-Icons-with-Embedded-Cover-Art-on-macOS: macOS Quick Action to Set FLAC File Icons from Embedded Album Art Automatically extract embedded cover images from .flac files and set them as custom Finder icons using a right-click Quick Action. But that’s just something I found after a quick search. I don’t use a Mac and haven’t tested it.
macOS is like Windows. It likes its own formats. You can convert FLAC to ALAC and it’ll be fine.
Thanks for your advices ! I’ll try by converting formats.
