I have used MB Picard for about 3 years and have the latest version installed. No matter what I drop into the left frame the result is a RED “could not load album” .
What is happening? I have tried refresh to no avail, any suggestions

I uninstalled the program and deleted any related directories and then downloaded the latest version and did a re-install.
Your Picard is getting a network error on this URL, though it seems to me it works, can you try in your browser (just following the link above) ?

Just a guess: Is it maybe the windows firewall blocking things? It looks like Picard is not even able to connect to the server.

Yes, that’s the expected response, and it means your machine (and your browser) has actually access to services, but Picard not.
And Picard has no acccess to any URL it seems. Do you happen to use any tool filtering traffic per application and/or any web proxy?

I don’t have anything of that nature.
All was working well. I have done some Windows updates recently, could that have caused a problem? They did cause an issue with my network connected HP printer and I had to reinstall the printer.
I turned off my firewall settings and it still failed.
I turned them back on and Restored Defaults - still no joy
Do you use any proxy? can you check what settings you have in Picard Options regarding target server in General and Advanced > Network ?
