Your genres are coming from the Classical Extras plugin, this overrides the genres loaded by Picard from MusicBrainz.

Classical Extras has its own genre settings. But I’m not very familar with the options and I can’t tell you if it is possible to disable this completely. Maybe if you disable all the settings in the “Source of genres”. Alternatively it should also be possible to set a different “Name of genre tag” to have it written to a different tag.
