Can I use MusicBrainz to submit the track list of an Audio CD?

For example I have this CD: Campionii kontraatakă 2 - I’ve created the release entry in the MusicBrainz database, I was also using CueRipper to create a backup copy of the CD, and I’ve edited the resulting “.cue” file to add the artist names and the titles of the tracks.

Yet, when I play the Audio CD with a player like foobar2000, it doesn’t recognize the names of the tracks (songs).

And then, my question is: can I use MusicBrainz to submit and then to make use of the the track list of an Audio CD?

Probably yes, take a look at MusicBrainz Picard and its plugins.

Hi. I am still learning about MB, Picard, what they can do, and how to get them to do what I want.

What I think you want to do is play your CD using foobar and have foobar display the name of the track when it plays.

This pages indicates that you can do this.

But first you need to submit the MB DiscID to Musicbrainz. You can do this using Picard.
The following link should tell you more.

If you want to have foobar display the name of the track being played as you play your backup file then you could use Picard to tag the backup file with the metadata from Musicbrainz - as long as the backup file is in a format that is supported by Picard.
