I’m tagging some Japanese music, and I want to preserve the local artist name into a field (such as artist_jp) while still having the regular Locale function run as usual. Is there a script I can use to achieve this?
Currently Picard has options to translate artist names but if it does it does not provide access to the original artist name.
It probably would be a good idea to provide the untranslated name as an additional variable.
Yeah I ended up making a ticket for it. Here’s hoping it’s added in a future update.
