It’s the first time I’m trying to merge two series.
Every time I press the merge button the “Server beeing Naughty 502 Bad Gateway” screen appears.
So I waited two hours until I realized that it must be a bug, because everything else is working well

That bug only happened in somewhat rare cases (an entity without any relationships at any point in its history), which is why we didn’t realize it earlier.
Thankfully the fix was very easy, and I’ve deployed it to beta.bookbrainz.org if you want to try again merging the series you were trying to merge.

Yes, I just added an item to the “empty” series and it worked, thx.

Ah, well that’s also good, but I meant that I fixed the issue with the empty relationships so that should also work now (on beta.bookbrainz.org). For example creating two empty series and merging them.

yes I understood that and I tried this too just now, works properly.
But I also wanted to try if I can fix it “here” until the fix is implemented.
