what does that have to do with my last.fm import issue? its generating based on my spotify zip upload

@lucifer - this was reported by another user on reddit as well, does something related to the last.fm importer need a kick by chance?

still 0 imported after more than 10 days since starting

try this fix, worked for me with 5k listens

  • disconnect last.fm
  • export current listenbrainz listens (if you have any)
  • reconnect to last.fm
  • wait, like 10 to 15 miniutes
  • if works then import your listenbrainz listens from exported file on 2nd step

let me know how that go…

Ok i was getting tons of errors emails but sent to my junk so didnt see it…how do i login? I dont see an option

The error was as follows: “Error from the lastfm API while getting listens: {“message”:“Login: User required to be logged in”,“error”:17}”

Hi!
The email gives us a good clue, the issue seems to be coming from the LastFM side at a glance.

My initial hunch after looking into the LastFM API docs, and reading up on other people hitting that error: in your LastFM privacy settings > Recent listening, is the “Hide recent listening information” checkbox disabled ?

It needs to be unchecked (making your account public) in order for us to be able to call the API and get your recent tracks.

It worked !!

the reason was the toggle, i unchecked it and 12k got synced in 10 mins
