I also think he is an excellent candidate but I also remember reading on the old auto-editor mailing list that he said he doesn’t want to be auto-editor.

Did he change his mind?

I’ve cancelled the election because zos18 says he doesn’t want to be an
autoeditor. My fault for not asking him first. Two different people had
already asked whether he wanted to be put up for consideration already,
and he told both of them no. I asked again today, and he still feels the
same way.

I didn’t forget as such - the mail sending method needs to be rewritten (again) :face_with_peeking_eye: In a way it’s good it wasn’t needed this time, but clearly it needs to happen before we need it for real again…
