The artist “Dame Pandora” has a solo project where she is known as “Iris Capricorn”. Should these be merged into a single artist (since they are the same person), or should Dame Pandora be listed as a “member” of Iris Capricorn? I’m thinking the second option is better because there are already separate Discogs pages.

I’d keep them separate but use “performs as” instead of “member of”. A person can’t be a member of a person, much less themselves. Is she simultaneously using both? If so, she likely considers it a separate project and thus should stay separate. If you know her legal name, I’d create that as a new artist and add both Dame Pandora & Iris Capricorn as both “performs as” separately to her legal name.
