What I would consider this actually is to use A1 etc as track numbers, even for the digital release

That’s an interesting idea. I guess that would capture the intention behind the naming on Bandcamp. I find it rather obvious that the artist considers the A1 etc. numbering the way to refer to a specific track, but without the tracks actually having a name or title in the typical sense. I would support that move.
