What are the current plans to add the ability to connect Deezer to record music on ListenBrainz?

We were hoping to accept a project to add Deezer support over the summit, but that didn’t happen. So we currently don’t have this on the roadmap, but we will eventually get this done. Perhaps towards the end of the year, early next year.

Which other music services are considered to be added in the long run ? Probably those that have a free tier first right ?
Ideally any and all. Including Internet Archive and anyone else who lets us stream. Afterall, we’re trying to bridge the silos.
If there is something specific that people want, make a ticket for us if that doesn’t already exist!

Deezer support would indeed be a great and valuable addition 
Hi! We have wanted to work on this for a while but last time I checked Deezer had shut off its API. Even back in June 2024 when this thread was started, the API had become unavailable but we didn’t realize it until later. We tried reaching out to Deezer to allow us access to their APIs but didn’t get a response.
This may be downright crazy, and I’m imagining at best you would probably have to setup an extra login or extension making it not really practical, but in theory would you be able to set it up to stream from your own personal plex/navidrome server?
