I hope this is the right place to post this topic. But right now, I’m getting an SSL error on the acousticbrainz.org website. The ‘AcousticBrainz Tags’ plugin for Picard is also affected by this.

AcousticBrainz: Making a hard decision to end the project

Hi everyone, Thanks for your interesting discussion on AcousticBrainz over the last few weeks. We’ve written a blog post outlining some of our reasons for shutting down the project, the final steps that we’re taking, and a few ideas about our future plans for recommendations and other things in the MetaBrainz world.

The read-only archive of AcousticBrainz is often saturated by bot traffic, yesterday it was stopped for a while and then it had issues on restart. I fixed those issues.

This server will eventually be retired in near future.
All plugins using AcousticBrainz API are obsolete.
