Works guidelines

This additional credit for the whole release should indeed be added on the release (I guess if PROs credit this composer for a few works on the release, then that might replace the release-level credit, but anyway certainly do add him at the release level if he’s not on any works).

I kind of agree with the general idea that band credits from the booklet and member credits from PROs are not equivalent (one shows the intended general credit, the others help see who was actually in the band). Ideally, I’d probably keep both, and not remove the band one (if printed) even if the members from the PRO are there.

I don’t think your screen shot did what you wanted. Look at the bottom - you changed Mark Cromer’s name to “Additional Music”

Ah ah ah  I thought we could overwrite the relationship name, like for instrument names!

So you really have to choose between Composed and Arranged, without the possibility to leave a hint.

Personally I think that should be possible for any credit.

So, never got an answer about administrators. Are they publishers? I read somewhere they might actually be recording relationships and not work relationships. There is no “administered by” relationship on works or recordings. I’ve been adding them as publishers for years, but now think that maybe that’s wrong.

Not sure which thread is better to post in - this one is newer with more current editors, but the other is more on topic: Is there a preference for legal or performance names in writing and performance credits? - #19 by IvanDobsky Would be interested to hear if opinion on how to credit an artist has changed (item 2 in the OP).
