Reminder that MusicBrainz URL cleanup results in database values that are unlikely to work in the Internet Archive.
Example:
iTunes - ミュージック - アンティック-珈琲店- and アンティック-珈琲店- - Apple Music would generate the same “cleaned” MusicBrainz URL, yet both the URL itself and the page contents for releases with the same listed release dates are significantly different. With only the MusicBrainz “cleaned” URL on hand, it would be impossible to lookup the page contents in 2015 (nor the page contents in 2025 at a later time in the future) since the URL itself would not be known.
I’d leave the original URL in the edit note when the MusicBrainz server will generate a URL that can’t be researched.
