Track with different titles on back vs booklet

See Edit #134622417 - MusicBrainz : The track listing on the back cover (and identically on obi) just calls the last two listed tracks “Special Track1” and “Special Track2” respectively. (Not sure if these should be treated as [unknown] per MB style rules to begin with?)

However the booklet has a page dedicated to the lyrics of “ラビットヴォーズ” which is not present in the listing on the back, but the lyrics and the base track confirm that it does indeed match “Special Track2”

For now I settled on treating “ラビットヴォーズ” as a subtitle in Edit #134622782 - MusicBrainz but that still feels a bit awkward…

I’d go with the title in the booklet (with “Special Track2” as an alias), especially if you’d consider using [unknown] without it.

Style / Unknown and untitled / Special purpose track title - MusicBrainz has
“If the artist gives the track a name somewhere else (for example, on their website) that name should be used instead of [unknown]. If the title of a track added as [unknown] is given at a later point, the [unknown] title should be updated. If the track is confirmed to have no title, it should be changed to [untitled].”
i.e. unknown track names can be filled in even if the name didn’t appear anywhere on the original release.

If you decide to treat “Special Track2” as an actual title, then it’s less clear what’s best (except that both should be recorded somewhere, even if just as an alias).

Update: Just to clarify, I mean aliases for the recording. There is no equivalent for the track, unless I’m forgetting something.

Hmm.. in Edit #134622782 - MusicBrainz I settled for “Special Track2: ラビットヴォーズ” since that looked less weird than just the booklet title after “Special Track1”. (Special Track1 is a story monologue that I didn’t find a different title for anywhere and that seems to only be related to a “backstory” text on the discography webpage)

I guess the main question then is whether there is an existing consensus whether something like “Special Track#” should be treated as a track title or as [unknown] in general? If there isn’t, then having slept on it a bit Edit #134622782 - MusicBrainz feels like an alright compromise.

It’s definitely a track title.

And “Special Track2: ラビットヴォーズ” is what I was going to propose.
