This is clearly not a permanent change from the artist marketing team. It is just temporary marketing money.
It is not that much different than when an artist sticks a Ukrainian or rainbow flag on their artwork as a protest. Just the only protest here is to make more people talk about something to make more profit

Six days later and I see you are putting things back now the advertising campaign is over. Curious - does this now mean a new release or are you restoring the old Digital Media release that had been suspended? Have Sony now changed to a single World Wide release instead of the old areas method?
I had only withdrawn about a dozen releases before I realized it really was just a short campaign and knew they wouldn’t last. I had changed them back rather quickly a few days ago. I’m withdrawing all the ones that have no sites linked anymore to the new artwork. All of HDtracks & Most of Mora still have the campaign artwork. Wouldn’t be surprised if they changed tomorrow. No, they are the same releases as prior.
To answer your other question, Yes, there are no more Warner distributed digital releases. Those were the ones that were in Europe. Sony is now distributing all the digital releases worldwide, except Russia, so they have all gone worldwide. So, all those previous Sony releases that were everywhere that Warner wasn’t have taken over the old Warner market and are now worldwide. I moved the Europe releases to withdrawn due to label change.
Thanks for the update. It was always a confusing one with the US \ Europe split with the labels. So at least that is one thing Sony has done for us.

I was never upset at Pink Floyd. Sony and the marketing team are the money people, not the band members. The way the product is now sold has put me off buying anything “new” from the money machine. They have been eaten by the machine that is the industry. Corporate greed. Ironically a topic of some of their music.

There are corporations everywhere now. I wonder what percentage of the money and decision-making musicians have.

This is now just Sony making as much money as they can out of the catalogue. Even to the extent of stealing bootlegs from the bootleggers to sell to people in these boxsets.

My new PC is not compatible with Windows 11 (my old Linux Debian PC broke 1 or 2 years ago).
Il liked Debian, except its version names and the apt command name.
I found another Linux with its command pacman which is more funny and there was no need to migrate versions (unique version constantly updating), but the pacman command line was a nightmare.
I think I will go back to Debian, once Windows 10 is really made unusable.
Going back to Linux will have the side-effect of bringing my old scanner back to life, again.
