Tentative identification in relationships

Entering performer data for historic releases, I sometimes come across credits in liner notes like:

“prob. Murrey M. ‘Buddy’ Harman, Jr., drums”
“others may include Kenny Baker - fiddle and Joe Drumright - banjo”

I sometimes credit these to [unknown] with an AC, as on this recording : “Unknown, possibly Joe Drumright”

This is better than nothing, but someone looking at Joe Drumright’s data will never see this credit because it’s just in text. A better way would be to actually enter a relationship to the artist but indicate that the identification is tentative or uncertain; such relationships could potentially be displayed separately from definitive ones.

I can open a ticket for it, but I’d be interested to hear what others think of the idea first.
