Submitting listen data from formats other than the usual Vorbis/mp3/FLAC/etc

What’s the policy about submitting tracks in VGM or C64 SID format to listenbrainz.org? Both of these formats have metadata that (usually) contains at least a track title and artist name, and VGMs also list the game they’re from or an album name.

I’ve been working on adding ListenBrainz submission support to a music player I’ve been developing and wanted to make sure it was OK to submit these formats to ListenBrainz first.

Listenbrainz is only really interested in the metadata of the music you’re listening to, there are no rules that it has to be in a specific format. As long as a title and artist is provided, it will attempt to match it to a recording from the Musicbrainz database.
