Release doesn't add up

Newbie here,

Saw this release: https://musicbrainz.org/release/7846575a-789e-33e2-8ce0-b98b36353e72
Labelled as an vinyl, CK 37408 on Discogs (and own collection) tells it is a CD (multiple times)
External links show 3 different (CD) releases.

How to handle?

I myself made some mistakes and got ‘Notes on my edits’. I can’t seem to find ‘that’ button, most probably do not understand how to do that myself with this release.

Or make changes/adjustments myself? Feels a bit rude.
Some people have this in their collection, and I do not know what happens if doing so.

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

I’d keep it as the LP release found on Discogs, which means the cat# needs to be changed to HC 47408 and the 2 URLs to Amazon CD release should be removed. CK 37408 is already listed as 3 different releases in the RG, if the one you want is not one of those and you have yet another, you should add that as a new release.

On the right hand side is an “Edit History” button where you will find a list of all the edits on this release. So you’d find who to blame for the errors.

But two of those are Amazon links… so probably just changed over the years. Or just some other noob added them.

@tigerman325 has a sensible route to follow. This looks mostly like the vinyl linked in the Discogs link. The key is we want to see nice sane clean accurate details.

Make changes yourself is fine - just leave notes as to why you are doing the changes. Someone has to be brave and fix things. People who have it in their collection will come and look at your changes and decide if they have the vinyl or CD and silently thank you for your corrections.

If you already made edits and someone shouted at you - that is just the dramas you have to go through as a noob. We all made a mess when we started. Just listen and learn. I always say you only learn if you made a mess that you have to clean up.

Welcome to your new hobby… this is addictive. You have been warned.
