This question occurred to me while helping someone with a Russian classical release.
I get, and agree with, the policy of an Artist’s name being written in their native script (Tchaikovsky in Cyrillic, for example).
Recording artists seem to be a puzzle, unless I’m over-thinking it. Say there’s an album with releases in several languages, and the recording artists are scripted in the release’s script (Latin script on one release, Cyrillic on another, Hebrew on another, etc.), how should the MB Recording artist credits be recorded? Which script, I mean.
Whether it’s not there, or I’ve just missed it, I found nothing in the Guidelines to answer this. Or is this where pseudo-releases come in?
