Picard blocks mouse clicks to other windows (on Debian)

#1

Hello!

I’m on Debian Stretch RC 2 with the latest updates.

Picard works fine by itself, but it prevents me from interacting with certain other windows. For example, if I switch to a file manager window (Nautilus), then this window does not respond to any mouse click. The only thing I can click on is the X button that closes the window. This is pretty annoying because it prevents me from dragging stuff from the file manager.

Not all windows suffer from Picard being open, for example Google Chrome still responds to mouse clicks. However, some windows (Nautilus, Terminal) consistently stop responding. Occasionally, Picard itself stops responding to clicks, although I haven’t been able to reproduce this consistently.

Is anyone else experiencing or aware of this issue?

Thanks!
