Picard 2.0.2 Launch Error

I would recommend just doing pip3 install picard. That installs from source (almost sorta). That’s the easiest and recommended way to install picard for those that already have python3 installed.

Much better. I completely forgot about that. Installing with pip tries to install all the required dependencies as well, doesn’t it? That’s definitely the better way to go for @TheMonkofDestiny’s testing.

This may be beyond my capabilities. My install of Python only really happened because it was as simple as “download installer, click and continue from there” and it was done mostly in the vague hope that having it installed might’ve helped ferret out a solution to the problem without much prodding on my own end.
