I grew up in Baton Rouge. He was a big deal there with his big church was down the street from me. Never really like him much because he got so many bands (AC/DC, Ozzy) and movies (Last Temptation of Christ) banned there.

Before he went into voice acting, he was a member of the band The Laughing Dogs, whose debut album famously used the cover photo the band Wicked Lester selected for their own debut album (which was famously shelved and later leaked).
