[mailed in] I worked on feedback from monkey for the tests and added the required ones last week. Just now received (hopefully) final feedback on the frontend tests.
The backend is already merged and frontend PR would also soon be merged. Would work on the final review and it should be merged soon. That would conclude my GSoC project : )

[mailed in] [fettuccinae] Last week I worked on the frontend bits for notification settings and on wrapping up my GSoC project.

[mailed in] Pulled an all-nighter to finalise the MusicBrainz homepage mockup, hopefully addressing most of the annoying mobile + widescreen etc issues that will come up, and allowing ansh to finally start! glhf ansh!
Lately a massive NZ photography book that I did the layout and illustration for, and an album from my old band that I also did the artwork for, were both released, and I’m putting together a Palestine music compilation and zine that is taking aaaages - so busy!
I haven’t even had time to edit MB D :
Still dipping into some interesting MB edit/guideline discussions though, but luckily nobody’s asked me to do anything else : D

[mailed in] [mayhem] Last week I was starting to feel vacation mode, so I didn’t work all that much. A few conversations here and there, some gsoc work, a bit of cleanup on the CAA-backup.
The CAA backup is about 1/3 done and has already consumed nearly 1/3 of the available diskspace, which isn’t great. I’ll keep monitoring.

[mailed in] this week i made some important advancements with the staff SSO work:

• updated authentik from 2025.6.x to 2025.8.x and did some patches to the underlying server as well
• set up SSO for our cloud-hosted sentry service with lucifer’s assistance!
  this week i intend to continue work on the next generation of the blog platform, while continuing to support needs in the current platform (such as getting GSoC contributors set up for contribution access) : )

last week I was basically inactive for MB unfortunately. We had a deadline to meet at work (for today actually, managed it). Started to catch up with PR reviews for Picard today.

Last week, I did a bit of cleanup related to new server oum
I also reviewed incoming Picard PRs (as said last week, a lot of things are happening on Picard side, thanks to knguyen1 & rdswift), very interesting new patches & features
Today I restarted all SOLR cluster nodes (one by one) to apply upgrades and to fix a perfomance issue
Plus usual supervision, user support, upgrades, MB edits.

[ansh] Last week, I majorly worked on the new musicbrainz homepage. It’s already looking pretty good.
And reviewed some PRs for LB.

[monkey] Last week I fixed some username encoding issues in LB that borked links to some special user profiles
I worked with ApeKattQuest (IRC) on the BB User guide some more
Reviewed the extended MB homepage redesign from aerozol
And reviewed PRs, mainly the ongoing ones from GSOC participants

[Jade] This last week I’ve been continuing to focus on the display side of things
I’ve implemented a nice and snazzy CSS system with all the MeB colours
And I’ve implemented message profile collapsing

Suddenly it’s actually nice to read
Oh, profile fallbacks is another thing that’s quite visible there
You can check it out on this meeting
I also spent the weekend on the train to pick up my passport for the conf, because I’d left that at uni
Oh and I implemented state events, so you can see when people leave/join/are banned
So a pretty productive week!

last week I was fixing some todo items in the external links editor refactor branch, after taking a break from that. then cleaning up the code and putting it into logical commits
(currently 3722 insertions(+), 3190 deletions(-), but hoping to improve that)
I also submitted PRs for MBS-14136 and MBS-13963 and did some code review
[MBS-14136: Display of relationship editor in event edit form is broken]
[MBS-13963: Include Sub-Events in Event lookup]

last week, worked on reviewing GSoC PRs. merged the spotify and listenbrainz file importers.

I wrote the Stats API tests for all the 3 Stats PR this past week
Also worked on the comments for the Artist Evolution Stat
Hopefully they can be merged this week
And can soon start the work on the last remaining stat

I mostly worked on MBS-12761
[MBS-12761: Convert recording edit form to React]
The recording form should now have hit parity, I think, and be finally ready
Other than that, mostly a few small things like new reports
And today I started work on MBS-14120
[MBS-14120: Indicate the edited release on edits entered from the relationship editor]
Which I would really like because so often I see an edit adding an arranger to a work or whatnot and I spend way too much time figuring out from what release it came from so I can move it to the recording

I’m looking on the relevant pull requests right now!

Otherwise, still plugging along on the khamak aliases, there are a lot and a lot of transliterations (which are now harder to do because my tool for it stopped working)
Did some research on suggested instruments
(that one’s for you reo)
his week I will work on instruments and write blogposts
Hopefully soon I will have a mini-version release to show for it
The draw prompt thing I’ve been doing is nearing it’s end (only a very stupendous finale)
aaand that zine I mentioned might be done.. soon. probably not in time to get one to show off at the summit but we’ll see

[mamanullah7] Last week I worked on funkwhalePlayer mostly there were some inconsistentcy successfully fixed that!
Also worked reviews fixed frontend tests!
Soon funkwhale will be available on beta and you guys can connect your funkwhale servers and able to listen song on LB!

I’m looking forward to the next version.

I tag using Picard and rename files using my own CPP program.

I also wrote a program that compares file names before and after tagging (different settings).

The differences are listed in an easily readable TXT file.
