New user Q - scripting for Plex - date sorting, and empty dates

Do you know the difference between the two Scanners: Plex Music and Plex Music scanner? I wanna say I read somewhere that the latter is simply an older version.

Also, If the Agent is set to Plex Music, my feeling is to match that and use the Scanner with the same name, Plex Music.

Correct on all counts. In fact, when you choose “Plex Music” in either field, the other one automatically changes to match.
