I found this release https://musicbrainz.org/release/a6fbc310-8d21-42b9-9234-8f3ec4791e24 a compilation called “Untitled 2” that makes no sense. It has CD1 from the correct “Untitled 2” here https://musicbrainz.org/release/ebfaa89e-8c94-4698-9fac-386b286fa888 but CD2 comes from “Untitled” https://musicbrainz.org/release/0cc5d317-88f0-473d-822b-2ce8fa237f7c. How would someone go about fixing this? I want to merge medium 1 into its correct release and medium 2 into its correct release.

You’d need to use something like the Mass Merge Script to merge CD2 into its correct home. (I can do this for you now if you want, or point you how to install it)
And then delete CD2 from the bad release.
Then after votes\a week’s wait you can merge the loan CD1 into its new home.
Try and keep the recording merge directions towards the better quality recordings. The ones with the most recordings attached \ usually the oldest.

I have queued the recording merges.
There is nothing left to save from this mistake merge (no Disc ID, etc.), nothing that is not already in the 2 correct releases: You can now remove the bad release, IMO.

Do note there are some oddities in there. CD1, track 13 uses a different recording and needs to be checked\fixed first. Maybe other tracks with errors too. So be careful before merges. If you have the CDs it helps as can check
Just seen the @jesus2099 post. I see track 13 is being fixed and that "(demo) being removed as seems likely bogus as not in the booklet.

Artwork is better on it. Makes more sense to delete Medium 2, then merge it into the good one.

Track 1.13 demo version information comes from Edit #5179615 - Edit recording (pre‐NGS).
It’s an old edit, the reference page is archived and both old and current pages show no demo version, just 4:18

I read the booklet scan and realised it was bogus. My comment about was one of those I edited three times as I worked out what was going on in stages. 
Have voted yes on your merge as it clears the odd ETI off of the recording that way. (And I am going to manually fix the other track list that has (demo) in it)

As this getting fixed instead of replying to the OP, hear is the edit to delete CD2.
Then the Release can be merged to keep the better artwork and Release MBID

I step away for a day and look at all that’s been done! I do have and use the Mass Merge script for recordings but I wasn’t sure how to deal with the releases themselves. The solution of deleting CD2 and merging CD1 into the right release to keep the artwork looks optimal. Thanks, editors!
