My listenbrainz is not importing scrobbles from lastfm

Hi, I connected my Last.fm account to ListenBrainz to import my listening history, but the import never starts.

Details:

  • Last.fm account connects successfully
  • My profile is public and actively scrobbling
  • Import status shows 0 listens imported
  • Last imported listen date shows 1970-01-01 05:00:00
  • Status shows N/A
  • I have approximately 249,169 scrobbles on Last.fm

I disconnected/reconnected and waited multiple days, but nothing changed. Could someone check if the Last.fm importer is stuck or failing?

Same here. My ListenBrainz listens stopped updating from Last.fm yesterday.

Same issue. I made my account about 2 days ago, and connected my Last.fm the same day. It gave me the same “Listens Imported: 0” message. I saw some others post on here that even though it shows 0 imports, it just takes a day to import anyways, but its now been more than 24 hours since I imported and nothing has transferred over.

3 days ago, Last.fm mentioned some API changes which may have broken what the current import system has in place.

So we’re adjusting how the API works at the same time: access will require your approval, and your privacy settings will be respected both through the API and on the site.

Just created an account and waited for a few hours but Lastfm sync did not work. However the manual import for Favorite tracks seems to work fine.
