What should be done for releases/recordings with multiple recording dates/periods? The release I’m currently editing states the following on the packaging:
Recording: 3-9 November 2011, 24-28 February 2012,
Liszt Ferenc Concert Hall, University of Pécs, Hungary
No specific dates are given for the individual works/tracks.
You can add both recording date ranges via the “recorded at” relationship. You can do this at either the release or recording level.
Thanks! It seems kind of redundant to have to list the venue twice (not to mention the artists and works if you were going to date them as well), but I guess that’s just the limitations of the system, I suppose.
It is. There have been multiple tickets made to support multiple date ranges in one relationship, but so far none have been implemented.
