Messy release starts to live a life of it's own

the release has been added under questionable sourcing. Edits for Some Jellyfish Live Forever - MusicBrainz (i added a comment for now at the first edit)

it has been and was always a LP release but the editor just wrote “CD in my hands !” which obviously was a lie.

now the release got reissued (under different barcode and artwork and as a CD) and someone changed the A-side/B-side tracknumbering to a continuous cd format tracknumbering. (without getting suspicious, it is even written boldly on the back artwork https://roguart.com/assets/userfiles/2021/02/71-new-some1jellyfish1live1forever3.jpg)

What to do now? Normally i would say we reinstall the LP issue and finally change medium type to LP. and add the cd issue. but this way we would get rid of the discid. we can also delete the artwork, change the date and fully transform it to the cd reissue, then later add the LP. Any opinions?

Just split it. DiscIDs can be moved between releases.

There is so little data there, I’d just add a new release for the LP and update details on the two to make the Release Group look less confused. :slight_smile:
