I have been merging recordings that are the same from different Albums but, can only do 2 at a time. Is it possible to merge 3 recordings that are identical?
You can merge as many as you can find. Just keep using the merge function on each recording

When I select the second recording and click merge it’s showing me 2 recordings that I have to make a selection from and can’t get out of it.
You can’t open another tab or navigate back and keep picking other recordings?

I had the same problem once. Is there any way to simplify it?
It’s unclear if Merge worked. Maybe there should be a message?
Only way to get out of it was to cancel then I had to start all over again
If you run your browser as a one window at a time, then this is not a massive problem. Just hit back or search or navigate to the next item you want to merge, and hit the merge button. Now you’ll see three items stacked up in the merge.
Just don’t hit Cancel.
Keep searching and repeat and you’ll find the system is remembering the list of items you are merging.
Some of us use dozens of web pages open at a time. So it makes it easier to follow. If you only have one page open at a time, there is no problem. As you close a page and navigate to the next pages to merge then you’ll find that your selected items stay selected until you close your web browser.
We all use web browsers in different ways. And MusicBrainz interface can handle this

Hi Ivan, your saying just open another Music Brainz Tab and search for the other recording then select merge from their?

Yes. Just open more tabs showing your chosen recordings and click merge in each one. And you’ll keep getting a page appear with more and more items listed for merging, as @VBZPPlNQyJ shows you in their screen shot.
You’ll also see the “merge process” queue appearing at the very bottom of other MusicBrainz pages as you build up your merge queue.
