Hi all,
I’ve been trying to clean up my release Electronic Music 1 by ackzz, but Medium 3 (a flat tracklist) keeps reappearing—even after multiple successful removal edits.
I’ve deleted all mediums, rebuilt the vinyl layout with Side A and Side B, and confirmed that edits were applied. Still, the original flat tracklist (Medium 3) persists.
I also received this error: ERROR: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "medium_uniq" Key (release, "position")=(5331361, 4) already exists.
It looks like the system is trying to assign multiple mediums to the same position, causing the edit to fail and revert.
Edits: #135804497, #135804886, and latest rebuild
Any help resolving this would be hugely appreciated!
Are you aware that destructive edits, like removing mediums, must go through a 7-day voting period? It looks like your edits are open for voting, and won’t be applied until the voting period closes (assuming they aren’t voted down).
I was going to vote on these to help speed them up. Then got confused as to what is being added and removed. Can I suggest you review your Open Edits list and drop the duplicated edits? Or maybe just cancel them all and start again?
You would not be able to delete these any faster as an Auto Editor anyway. We can only change, not destroy.
Also note - one medium is one vinyl. So it would be tracks A1-A6,B1-B5 on the same medium. Not a separate mediums for Side A and Side B.
